Daman Bahadur Bhandari Wins Far West Provincial Assembly Seat in Bajhang 1 (a) By-Election

Kathmandu: In a closely contested by-election, Daman Bahadur Bhandari of the CPN-UML has emerged victorious, securing a seat in the Far West Provincial Assembly from Bajhang 1 (a).

According to the most recent updates on the election results, Bhandari clinched victory in Bajhang 1 (a) by defeating his closest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Abhishek Bahadur Singh, by a margin of 266 votes.

Bhandari garnered a total of 11,612 votes, while Singh trailed closely behind with 11,346 votes.

Janak Budha of the CPN (Maoist Center) secured the third position with 3,831 votes, followed by Dil Bahadur Singh of the CPN (Unified Socialist) in fourth place with 2,514 votes.

The by-election in Bajhang 1 (a) witnessed intense competition among candidates, with Bhandari ultimately emerging as the victor after a closely fought contest.
